today was like...the BEST day of my australian school life ever... why? because we did like almost nothing today in class and there was no special occasion for the cause :DDDDDDDD
first up. for PE, we did soccer, but i think i was pretty okay with it. it`s kind of fun to see some people who are worse at soccer than you because when we`re trying to dribble the ball, some people just kick it WAYYY out and you can have the joy of laughing so hard at them while they run after their ball. which is a little sadistic of me, but whatever.
for science, we`re starting an introduction to geology... and we`re learning about the earth`s crust, outer core & inner core etc. then Adam cracked like the lamest but funniest joke ever as we were just walking out of the class. "How thick is the crust? ... HOW THICK THE BAKER BAKED IT. *laughs laughs laughs*" ........ ........ ........ GET IT??? (me & Temily were just cracking up so hard)
then for design&technology, Jamie & Scott were just going on about whether i was friends with them or not. and because our teacher is forever late, we just talked & talked outside. or maybe it is more fair to say that they interrogated me on the subject of whether i was chinese or japanese -__-# this is all i can remember so far... Scott: *to some girls next to him* she`s my good friend *to me* you`re my friend, aren`t you? Me: i don`t even know you. Scott: yeah you know me, im Scott. Me: yeah but i haven`t really talked to you a lot. Scott: *starts going on about who he is, like he plays soccer and all that* okay, now tell me something about you. Me: like what? Jamie: are you chinese or japanese? Me: chinese. Scott: oh, no wonder when we said konnichiwa all the time you were... Jamie: oh, no wonder Japanese isn`t your favourite subject. Me: i don`t have a favourite subject -_-# Jamie: so is it true that you hate japanese people? *joking* Me: i don`t hate anyone. Scott: so is it okay if we still say konnichiwa to you? Me: *shrugs* if you want. Scott: *happiful* then they started asking me how to say hello & goodbye in chinese...and they were so lame in pronouncing it, i seriously regretted it later on. never try to teach ang mors how to speak chinese/japanese.
then for english, we just read & read & read these lame books. seriously lame. then for society&environment, we usually just read on fridays but i decided to do my cover page for HISTORY...and a lot of people said my drawings were very nice (:
then for maths, when we usually were meant to go on mathletics, the site suddenly didn`t work, and so the teacher allowed us to play internet games as long as we did not go on myspace, ebuddy.com etc. that was like the BEST, man...
what a wonderful way to end the week, man... no homework, too.
sadly, my mother is coming to australia tonight so i seriously hope she won`t cause any trouble for the time she`s staying here O_O

YESTERDAY
it was actually meant to be the day of the lunar eclipse. too bad i didn`t come home in time...it was actually at 4:00PM. and we MISSED it. it`s not going to happen until FOUR MORE YEARS. that`ll be when i`m like...SIXTEEN. sheesh. one of my science classmates said she saw it...she said the moon was pink. but on the news this morning, they had a picture of the moon turning fully red. but most of us didn`t see it because it was too cloudy yesterday... -sighs- four more years. at least next year is the leap year... wheee? o_O
TODAY well...today i handed in my science assignment so i`m going to tick that off now... my brother borrowed the SECOND Isobelle Carmody book of LITTLE FUR!!! so i can read it XD too bad it`s not in stores...well, at least i can`t find it. if someone could buy that book for me i`d be like...ETERNALLY grateful. O_o
anyway, today it was raining and it was SO DAMN WINDY. my hair was like...flying everywhere and when i caught a glimpse of myself in one of the gym windows i looked like MADUSA!!! SHEESH!!! yeah, but whatever.
we also went to our australian citizenship ceremony today... they gave us free plants. small ones. -sighs- i`m so bored.

when you are out in australia (perth) one day, be sure to look up at the sky at night, and try not to let anything else come into view... like a roof/street lamp etc. it`s like...the most enchanting thing ever, man...
today was a nice, uneventful start to the week O_O oh, and what`s more, my MOTHER is coming to australia this FRIDAY :( so much for high hopes for a nice, relaxing weekend ): oh, and this wednesday, i have to go to this australian citizenship ceremony... it`s something to do with our citizenship here in australia...then we can go back to singapore anytime we want already.

for health, this relief teacher let us do whatever we wanted on the computers... it was like...really boring because we cannot do anything execpt "EDUCATIONAL SITES OR EDUCATIONAL GAMES". yeah i know a lot of educational games. like STRATEGY GAMES like WARCRAFT and COUNTER STRIKE. DOES THAT MEAN WE CAN PLAY THAT? oh, no. she means games like the NERD games like mathletics etc. so that 40 minutes was like a total waste of time.
then....for english, we had to watch that STUPID kangaroo video again...watching the kangaroos have sex, watching the kangaroos boxing and kicking each other in the nuts, male kangaroos chasing female kangaroos because they want to eff them... i hate english now. my english teacher is complaining how SMALL my handwriting is. HYPOCRITE, we can`t even read her handwriting on the whiteboard because it`s so cursive and so hard to read. OWNSELF SAY WAN STILL WANT SCOLD OTHER PEOPLE...
my drama room has been reduced to the green room, which is actually black. why do they call it the green room if it`s all black??? anyway we watched a bit of Finding Nemo for drama because my drama teacher had to go and help the year 12s with their play that`s going on tonight.
we rented The Curse Of The Golden Flower.... alright, why don`t they just LEAVE THE ACTING TO JACKIE CHAN AND LEAVE THE SINGING TO JAY CHOU??? the director of the show is also the person who directed The House Of Flying Daggers. EVERYONE DIES IN THE END!!! EVERYONE!!! that movie is just so lame. i didn`t get the fighting bit, though.

never try to freeze a flower. it`s a complete waste of time, water and patience. okay, so... you know how light flowers are? sometimes it makes the flower look really pretty when the wind blows. but... when you try to keep a flower underwater, it just WON`T STAY UNDERWATER. it`s just IMPOSSIBLE to keep a flower submerged unless you weight it down with something. oh yeah, like it`s so easy. not unless you want the weight to be frozen in the ice too.
so...i`m defrosting the ice now... and...throwing the water to the plants outside. i`ll probably bury the flower and hopefully one of its plants might grow X( FAT HOPE, CHRISTIE. it`s not going to happen.
ah, and if you haven`t noticed my new blog music, you must be a deaf bat. AARON CARTER & NICK CARTER are REALLY GOOD SINGERS. i like aaron better.

today, during lunch, i plucked a flower from the little garden patch near where we sat. don`t worry...there`s a whole lot more than where i got this from.
i put the cute little flower in a wine glass and put some water in it. (but then i threw the water out onto the plants outside)

okay here`s a (maybe very detailed) description of the flower if you`re a bit picture blind. the petals are fragile paper white, and at the end of every petal, there`s a very small black jagged edge... in the middle of the flower there are orangey yellow pollen grains... and indigo buds waiting to make more pollen... that`s what stains the inner petals violet. <3 SO there.
for PE, we had to do all these other athletics stuff in the RAIN. i thought today was going to be reeeaaally sad.
anyway, for design&technology today, our normal design&technology teacher didn`t come. so we had a relief teacher. he has a long nose and round shiny glasses sitting on them. he has tufts of white curly hair, and he has a small white curly beard. so when he came out of the room, this guy called Martin said "ooh SANTA CLAUS". and the rest of us started cracking up so badly. yeah design&technology was okay today, i guess. except for the 'now reduced to whispers' of "konnichiwa"s from Scott. only Scott. and pokes in the shoulders and pretending he didn`t poke me. and big 'happy' smiles. i might think of strangling them one day if i had the chance. ... ... ... i`m just kidding. that would just be social suicide.
then lunch came, where i picked the beaauuttiiifffuul FLOWER :)
then the rest of the day went perfectly fine, really.

the rain is back in again. sad grey clouds are massing up in the sky... now the pretty BLUE sky is gone from view... i never thought school could be less torturous. assmblies once every fortnight or so with the teachers scolding us when they`re saying they`re not about us not "behaving the way you did in your first few weeks in school", which, apparently is meant to mean 'better behaviour'. like, whatever.
my drama teacher is ghey. ... ... ... GAY. NOT happy. homo.
today in school, there were some people called SKYBOMBERS who came to set up outside the canteen, and for the whole lunch period they were blasting their music like heck. Temily and the rest didn`t want to go. their vocals SUCKED. sure, they can play their music well and all that, but... those emo wannabes were up front screaming their lungs out...
i hate school. i shall keep saying that till the day i graduate. maybe.

i think school is starting to get nastier and suckier by the day. or maybe it`s just my mentality towards school.
well, how about this. my maths teacher is going to take a break of teaching because some university prac teacher is coming in to teach us for his practicing to become a teacher. he looks really plain. REALLY PLAIN. going to be teaching us until the end of the term or the year. i can`t remember. my science teacher is ALSO taking a break of teaching because some UWA prac teacher is coming to teach us for the rest of the term/year. she is really nice. but a little meek, i think. ah wells. she`s good enough ;) my health teacher is switching with some year 12 accountant teacher so now this really old and lame (not literally) teacher teaches us for health, and she is damn slack. my english teacher STILL looks like this ancient english drama film actor. and if things couldn`t get any worse, we`re watching about KANGAROOS in english. KANGAROOS. we have to see this really disgusting embryo coming out of the female kangaroo`s butt and then this little pink blind baby kangaroo crawls up to the pouch and urrrghhhsss. then we have to watch the kangaroos having sex and a male kangaroo peeing on the ground etc. ew. that is all i have to say about english. for design&technology, it`s just something i want to get through... i don`t LIKE it, i don`t WANT to do it. lucky for me, this is the only and last year i need to do this subejct, because next year we get to choose which subjects we want to do. i`m really scared of all the hot metal and that really hot fire pipe thing which you have to use to melt metal off. plus i really hate all the ear-splitting scraping sounds of metal and everytime someone hammers/drills something. it`s bad enough with my next door neighbour in singapore doing a renovation. it`s taken like a whole 6 months for them to renovate, and HEY HEY! they`re STILL on it. sheesh!!!
right now... what can i do? i`m living a robotic life, maties.

today was like...the most uneventful day ever. Temily didn`t come to school, so basically i didn`t have anyone to talk to for the whole day. she told me yesterday that she wouldn`t come to school today, anyway.
for maths (the last subject) we had to do this stupid mathletics thing... and then the teacher didn`t write the last bits properly and i did`nt even know what i was supposed to do, so i just bullshit my way through and i got every single one of them wrong, anyway :P bwahahaha.
today we went back across the freeway to the shop where my brother got his electric guitar from to get his tuner, because he forgot to get it yesterday -_-# -siighhx-
our light bulb blew again today. again? yeah, because i forgot to mention it in any of my posts. it only lasts for like a few weeks, and then BAM! it blows up. well only one blew up. like cracked glass and all that. most of the time the filament just blows up. cheapskate bulbs from china. pfftie. haha my father just went to change the bulb again.
weekend is here... it`s so boring. why won`t my brother just play his electric guitar in his ROOM??? i haven`t touched any of my homework yet. it`s all bullshit. i don`t want to do it. arghs. stuff this. why do i have to do it? ... ... ... i`ll do it. -_-# so that it saves trouble for complaining.

yesterday we rented GHOST RIDER from VideoEzy... and because it`s an overnight rental we had to return it today. it was DAMN NICE LAHH!!!

today, during design&technology, it was SOCOLD because the teacher always leaves the door open... too many "konnichiwa"s from Scott... Jamie cut his hair and now it`s dammnnn wierd...
today, during PE we had to run 3 laps of the field (900m!!!) and it took me 3:58... it wasn`t my best because i walked a bit for the last lap... and because it was like...TOTALLY FREEZING and i didn`t wear my jacket on because i knew it would only slow me down... i bet i could have gotten better if they actually had it on in spring or summer... oh wells. it was good, i guess...
ah...and today we had to like...drive across the freeway just to get my brother his electric guitar... so that pretty much explains the time i`m posting... WHAT DO YOU THINK HE`S GOING TO BE DOING AT 3AM TONIGHT??? i hate that amp. i hate that amp. he could just CLOSE his door, for crying out loud.

happy national day for singapore.
wahpiang... my MOTHER is in australia now :( scold&scold&scold for no reason... chaotic lah..
today was our winter carnival... played hockey the WHOLE day. our school won for A Division... i don`t know where we came in for the B Division... but my group won the first & last games we played... um. we lost sometimes and drawed sometimes also so it`s pretty hard to tell.
i hate it everytime my mother comes along to fetch me and my brother... because then she will want to go somewhere where we don`t want to go and then she wants to buy all sorts of stuff and then she will scold us for not wanting to get out of the car... ughs. at least she`s leaving on friday. wheee. __-__

-sighs- today the puddles dried up completely so we managed to have a nice dry lunch area... and no wet shoes today ;DD though they did completely stink because when your shoes get wet inside and your feet are in it the whole day be prepared for a major stink bomb.
after school, (since on wednesdays we usually end earlier) my father brought me to the shopping center to look for new shoes... unfortunately they didn`t sell the same one that i wore, because mine is like a damn old style, so they don`t have it anymore. so i tried on a couple but they were so effing tight.
so i didn`t buy any because i didn`t like the other styles and because they were so tight. i just decided to patch my shoes up and spray some deodourant on it or something. or maybe i should just wash it. arghs...
tonight my mother is coming to australia :(

BY THE WAY i strongly recommend that you do not move the cursor around a lot, because the snowflakes will make the video lag. so keep your hands OFF the mouse, there`s a good child (: and make sure no snowflakes are in sight ^^ sorry for those who just absolutely love my cursor. it`s just a few minutes of your time, mate.

it`s already the 2nd day of the new month. it`s already past the middle of the year. oh, how time really flies...
another few "KONNICHIWA"s from Jamie :( during design&technology... i tried telling him that i am not japanese, but he didn`t really seem to believe me =x
today, during PE, we did LOTS of RUNNINGGGGG!!! x333 Miss Tapley told us to do one lap of the field...i came in second... Luke came in first...well, because he is shorter & MAYBE skinnier than me. AKA. LIGHTER than me ;DD then we did a lot more running. time passed so quickly...
it was SO COLD today... i was practically shivering all day long :( i have more homework now...ho humms. let me see...
